I'm Christophe and I've been working with ICC for 2 months. I'm teaching English here to get people ready for their staying in Canada and in Australia.
Life in Japan is a nice experience. People are quiet and outgoing. I've been here for 10 years now, my japanese is not quiet fluent but is getting pretty good.
We are now in spring which is with autumn, my favorite season. I'm a bit anxious about the summer. It is the far most terrible time to be in japan. It is hot and humid. whatever you do, you are sweating. it is good time to lose weight but I'm too lazy to do any sports in July and August.
So far, here at ICC, I've been teaching only with people with anger to learn. Some of them are very courageous, since they 're gonna live abroad with a basic knowledge of English. All of them are exited to have a break in their life and a chance to do something else.
When I was 23, I went to Norway in an exchange program. U spent 6 months with people who really looked like vickings. I spent 10 days on a cruise boat getting north to discover the norvegian coast. I saw a northen ligh (Aurora). I drunk aquavit (don't do that) and I danced in caves. I really enjoyed it. I made many friends and it was really sad when I had to go back home.
